Women's Only Night at Golf Galaxy
Join us in supporting Women's Only Night at Golf Galaxy on April 22nd from 7-9PM. This is Golf Galaxy's annual event, and is a lot of fun. They have great discounts, give-a-ways, and have expanded their Women's selection in shoes and clubs for this event.

Melanie Loughin, PGA Professional @ The Mines has a regular rate of $65 dollars for a one hour private lesson, but would like to offer EWGA members this same lesson at $50. This price includes video analysis.
Buick Open Tickets!
THE BUICK OPEN will be held, June 23-29, 2008. It takes place at Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc and Tiger Woods is a two time champion.
Tickets retail for $35 at the gate and the Grandville Girls Golf team is selling the same ticket for $20 per ticket. This ticket is valid for any one day during the 7 day tournament. You may buy more than 1 ticket if you would like to attend more than 1 day.
The tickets are 'Anyday' tickets. These tickets allow
access to the tournament grounds any ONE day Monday through Sunday.
Monday is a pro-am, 4 amateurs are paired with one PGA TOUR pro and TOUR players practice as well.
Tuesday is strictly a practice round day but we do have a clinic that is held on the driving range that will either feature a specific PGA TOUR pro or trick shot artist.
Wednesday is the OnStar pro-am. Again, 4 amateurs are paired with one PGA TOUR pro and this pro-am has the top 52 PGA TOUR players on the money list that are in the field.
Thursday - Sunday are actual tournament rounds.

Golf Show News
As most of you know, the West Michigan Golf Show was held the weekend of February 22, and the EWGAGGR had a booth there. On Friday night, we sponsored a fashion show on the seminar stage. The fashion show was spectacular, showcasing new spring golf fashions for men and women from Golf Galaxy and Golf Chic. Our models came from area high school golf teams. Thanks to Deb Bouchard, Angie Carroll, Cristyn Burger and many others for putting this together!
We had 32 women sign our guest book requesting email information, and we also sold Pink Ball T-shirts - 27 in all for a great start to our Komen Foundation donation. There are 15 shirts left, mostly in small and medium sizes. More can be ordered, so if you would like to order, just let Kim Faber know. The booth was busy the entire weekend, with lots of women (and men!) stopping by to pick up information.

Congratulations Phyllis Zimmerman for making it to the EWGA National Championship!This marks the second year (out of two years of participation) that the Greater Grand Rapids Chapter has sent a member to the National Championship.
